Hannah Nishimoto is Manager of Employee Engagement & Culture at Columbia Distributing, the largest beverage distributor in the Pacific Northwest and the fourth largest in the nation. Hannah joined Columbia in 2013 and describes her role as “corporate cheerleader”. She has formed and is chair of an active 30-person culture committee who lead actions based on employee engagement survey results. Hannah manages Columbia’s companywide recognition programs and engagement events like “Thirsty Thursdays”, a monthly employee sampling and product education program at all branch locations.  She also leads fundraising events throughout the year and directs the annual company charity golf tournament that has raised more than $250,000 for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Washington & Alaska.


Prior to Columbia, Hannah spent eight years with Mike’s Hard Lemonade Co. and their parent company, Mark Anthony Group, in varying capacities in human resources, executive support, office management and event management. There, Hannah implemented and managed their new hire onboarding, performance management, wellness and relocation programs and was based out of their Seattle, Toronto and Chicago offices.


Hannah studied Sociology and Business Administration at Seattle Central and Cascadia College, and is a happy resident of Seattle. Outside of work, Hannah enjoys spending time with family, attending Broadway shows, singing karaoke, eating carbohydrates and rooting for the Seahawks. She is also a member and board director for CHEER Seattle, a non-profit organization that raises spirits, awareness and funds for health and wellness-related issues in the LGBT community and beyond.
